Rules and Regulations

GENERAL RULES :-

• Each participant should carry their COLLEGE IDENTITY CARD and a COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVE LETTER.
• Students should refrain from abusive language, obscene display and revealing costumes during competition, failing which they will be disqualified.
• Smoking, drinking and consumption of any such substances are prohibited.
• The Judges’ decisions are the final decisions.
• Participants should go through the rules of each event and adhere to the specifics.
• All the events will commence at their scheduled time and participants are requested to reach the venue 5 min prior; punctuality will be appreciated.
• No other student will be allowed to participate in any of the competitions if their name is not given by their respective college in the registration form neither will any replacement be entertained.
• Rules are subject to changes at the discretion of the Management/ Organizers.
• Organizing committee has the right to cancel the participation at any point of time(if necessary).
• Registration fee :- Rs. 50/- per participant except for t-shirt painting, for which the registration fee will be Rs. 200/- per participant.

RULES FOR EACH EVENTS :-

1. MALHAAR (LETS SING) : SINGING COMPETITION

• One participant per college, only solo entry allowed.
• Participants have to bring their own karaoke in pen drive or can bring their instrument along.
• No. of instruments cannot be more than 3 and the player to those instruments have to be the college mates.
• Time limit per team is 4 minutes.
• Maximum participants 5.
• Participants will be judged on clarity of words, tune, rhythm, timing and expressions.

2. PRASHNOTREE (THE BIZZ-QUIZ) : BUSINESS QUIZ

• One team per college.
• 2 participants per team.
• Not allowed to use mobile or any other electronics.
• Replacement of participant not allowed after registration.
• Judging will be done on the basis of points gained in each round.
• Total no. of rounds are 7.

3. PRATIVEDAN (THE AD SHOW) : AD-MAD SHOW

• One team per college.
• 5 participants per team.
• Time limit per team is 2 + 1 minutes.
• Performance based competition.
• Participants will be judged on their knowledge, creativity, content and performance.
• Participants can choose any product of their choice for which they are preparing the ad.

4. PAHEL (PITCH YOUR IDEA) : BUSINESS PLAN

• One team per college.
• 4 participants per team.
• Time limit per team is 7 + 3.
• The business plan should be a start-up plan.
• Presented in the form of PPT.
• PPT’s are to be mailed on email id of AKS FORUM.
• The PPT name should be the respective college name.

5. MAYURA (SPIRITS IN MOVE) : DANCE COMPETITION

• One team per college for each category.
• Categories :- Solo, Duet and Group.
• Time limit is 5 minutes.
• Maximum participants 5.
• Use of drugs, cigarettes, knives, fire, water etc on stage is prohibited.
• Please prepare your music in pen drives and must be handed over to the coordinators 1hr prior to the competition.
• The dance style can include any dance form.
• Please be sure to upload the exact version of your performance music, because pitch/ speed of music cannot be adjusted at the event.
• No explicit gestures, comments or movements will be entertained.
• Costumes are to be arranged by the participants themselves.

6. ANVESHAN (THE TREASURE HUNT) : TREASURE HUNT

• One team per college.
• 3 participants per team.
• The hunt will be clue based.
• No foul language is permitted, neither snatching of clues.
• Do not search for the clue in off-limit areas.
• If you move any object to search the clue, kindly replace it back.

7. MEDHA (EXPRESS YOURSELF) : TALENT HUNT

• One entry/ team per college.
• Can be individual, duo or group.
• Time limit is 5 minutes.
• Performance based judging.
• Vulgarity and communalism is strictly prohibited.
• If any standup comedy is to be shown please make sure that there is no political issue involved.
• Singing and dancing are entertained in their respective competitions.

8. DHWANI (THE MUSICAL BATTLE) : BAND PERFORMANCE

• One entry per college.
• Maximum 6 participants.
• Time limit per team is 5 + 15 (5= setup, 15= performance).
• Performance based judgment.
• Instruments are to be brought along the participants.

9. NAVYA (THE CORPORATE LOOK) : BUSINESS RAMP

• One team per college.
• 2 participants per team.
• THEME :- FORMALS.
• Judged on performance, attitude, dressing sense and question and answers.
• Consists of three rounds- COLLECTIVE RAMPWALK, QUESTION & ANSWERS & INDIVIDUAL RAMPWALK.

10. CHITRA-VICHITRA (WEAR YOUR COLORS) -T-SHIRT PAINTING

• One entry per college.
• Time limit for all teams is 45 minutes.
• THEME : CULTURE REPRESENTATION OF ANY STATE OF YOUR CHOICE.
• T-shirts will be provided to you when the competition starts.
• T-shirt will be of white color.
• Other painting or stationery materials are to be brought along with the participants.
• No electronic devices are to be used.

11. JAZBAAT (SHOW THE SKIN YOU ARE IN) : FACE PAINTING

• One team per college.
• 2 participants in a team (one will be the painter and the other will be the one whose face will be painted).
• Time limit for all teams is 1 hour.
• THEME : 7 WONDERS OF THE WORLD.
• Paints , stationery or any other material required are to be brought along with the participants.
• No electronic devices are to be used.

12. SANGRAH (THINK & DO DIFFERENT) : COLLAGE MAKING

• One team per college.
• 2 participants per team.
• Time limit for all teams is 1 hour.
• THEME : MNC’s
• White chart papers will be provided when the competition starts.
• Other materials are to be brought by the participants themselves.
• No electronics devices are to be used.

13. INDRA-DHANUSH ( THE FLYING COLORS) : RANGOLI COMPETITION

• One team per college.
• 3 participants per team.
• Time limit for all teams is 1 hour.
• THEME : REPRESENT LUCKNOW.
• Chalks will be provided.
• Other material and colors required are to be brought along with the participants.
• Only rangoli colors are allowed failing which the team will be disqualified.

14. SHEH AUR MAAT (CHECKMATE) : CHESS COMPETITION

• One entry per college.
• Time limit for each round 20 minutes.
• No. of rounds depend on the no. of participants.
• Chess boards will be provided.
• Participants should be well known of the rules of chess.
• No one should be found cheating, failing which you will be disqualified.

15. DHAVAK (RUN HARD OR GO HOME) : 100 MTR SPRINT

• 2 participants from each college.
• One male & one female as there will be 2 sprints( separate for male and female).
• First there will be 2 heats and then the final round.

16. ALEKH (SKETCH UR IMAGINATION) : SKETCHING COMPETITION

• One entry per college.
• Time limit for all teams is 1 hour.
• THEME : FREEDOM FIGHTER.
• Sketching sheets will be provided at the time of competition.
• Only pencil sketching is allowed.
• You can use your mobile phones to get an idea of the image.
• No videos tutorials to be seen while the competition.

17. NAV-RACHNA ( BEST YOU CAN MAKE) : BEST OUT OF WASTE

• One team per college.
• 2 participants per team.
• Time limit for all teams is 1 ½ hour for preparing the product.
• 2 minutes for each team to explain the product to the judges.
• The material will be rejected if not found to be waste or second hand product.
• No electronic devices are to be used while the competition.
• The waste material, stationery items and all other things required should be brought along the participants.

18. PUBG ( LOOT, SCOOT & SHOOT) : PUBG COMPETITION

• Either individual, duet or group will be allowed.
• No hackers allowed, if caught they will be disqualified immediately.
• No emulators are allowed.
• Don’t try to enter spectated area as it belongs to admin only.
• Be in the room before 15 minutes of match start.
• Room id and password will be given on spot.
• Match will start strictly on time, no late comers will be entertained.
• Send your name as well as your PUBG user name.
• Bring your gadgets ( mobile phone with PUBG app & headphones)
• SELECTED MODE WILL BE :- THIRD-PERSON PERSPECTIVE(TPP), MODE WILL BE CLASSIC & MAP WILL BE ASIA (ERANGEL).
